Dodgers World Series Odds 2027: Los Angeles Opens as the Favorite After the NLCS Loss to Milwaukee
Sportsbooks installed the Dodgers as the opening favorite for the 2027 World Series, ahead of the champion Milwaukee Brewers, even after Milwaukee swept Los Angeles out of the National League Championship Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have opened as the favorites to win the 2027 World Series, according to the opening odds reported this week. DraftKings listed the Dodgers at +310, ahead of the defending champion Milwaukee Brewers at +500 and the New York Yankees at +700; FanDuel opened Los Angeles at +360 and BetMGM at +250, the shortest price among the major books.
The billing follows a 100-win season that ended short of a third straight title. The Dodgers finished 100-62, won the National League West for the fifth straight season and the 13th time in 14 years, and were then swept by Milwaukee in the National League Championship Series; the Brewers went on to beat the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series. It is the eighth consecutive year the Dodgers have opened as the World Series favorite, after championships in 2020, 2024 and 2025.
The core of the roster remains under contract, including Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and Blake Snell, and the club must decide how aggressively to pursue free-agent pitcher Tarik Skubal after injuries limited Ohtani's pitching in the postseason. The offseason itself carries an uncertainty larger than any signing: baseball's collective bargaining agreement expires on December 2, raising the prospect of a lockout before the 2027 season.
