Early Voting in Los Angeles County: 646 Vote Centers Open Before Election Day November 3
Another 523 vote centers opened across Los Angeles County on Saturday, bringing the total to 646 for the November 3 general election. Any county voter can cast a ballot at any vote center.

Early in-person voting for the November 3 general election expanded across Los Angeles County on Saturday, when another 523 vote centers opened, bringing the countywide total to 646, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. The first 123 vote centers opened on Saturday, October 24, and all of the early centers operate daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Monday, November 2. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, all locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters can cast a ballot at any vote center in the county, regardless of where they live. Vote-by-mail ballots were mailed beginning October 1 to active registered voters and can be returned by mail - postmarked by November 3 - deposited in one of 429 official ballot drop boxes throughout the county, or delivered to an operating vote center. Residents who missed the October 19 voter registration deadline can still register and cast a ballot through California's conditional voter registration process at participating vote centers.
The November 3 ballot includes contests for governor and other statewide offices, congressional and state legislative seats, local offices and state and local ballot measures. Los Angeles County officials said this week that local elections are secure and urged voters to cast ballots early or by Election Day. The county will begin its official canvass on November 4, with election results scheduled to be certified on November 27. Vote center locations and drop boxes are listed at locator.lavote.gov.
