Halloween 2026 in Los Angeles: Boonion Station, West Hollywood Carnaval and Boo at the L.A. Zoo Lead Saturday's Events
Halloween fell on a Saturday this year, and Los Angeles County marked it from morning to late night - free family festivals at Union Station and the L.A. Zoo by day, and the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval on Santa Monica Boulevard at night.

The day began on the Westside with Santa Monica's free Fall Spooktacular at 9 a.m. at Joslyn Park for children ages 2 to 11, with arts and crafts, spooky activities and prizes. At Griffith Park, the Los Angeles Zoo hosted Boo at the L.A. Zoo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with trick-or-treating stations, animal enrichment demonstrations, keeper talks, costumed characters, games, an inflatable corn maze and photo opportunities, and Bob Baker Marionette Theater performances at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Downtown, Los Angeles Union Station hosted its seventh annual Boonion Station on the South Patio from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - a free family celebration with trick-or-treating, face painting, balloon artists, stilt walkers, live DJ sets, crafts and a costume contest. The 19th annual DTLA Halloween Festival for Kids returned to Grand Hope Park, and in Old Pasadena, One Colorado's Halloween Spooktacular offered store-to-store trick-or-treating beginning at 4 p.m.
As evening approached, the 10th annual Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party began at 4 p.m., including an official mobile voting center for eligible Los Angeles County voters. West Hollywood's annual Halloween Carnaval followed from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. along a one-mile stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard between Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard, with DJ sets, food trucks and thousands of costumed attendees expected. Admission to the Carnaval is free.
