Election Day Is Tuesday in Los Angeles County: 646 Vote Centers Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday's early voting runs until 7 p.m.; on Tuesday every vote center in the county opens at 7 a.m., any voter can use any center, and drop boxes and polls close together at 8 p.m.

Los Angeles County goes to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, and the final hours of early voting are running now: early in-person voting continues Monday, November 2, at Los Angeles County vote centers from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Election Day, Tuesday, vote centers will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m., FOXLA's Election Day report and the Registrar's announcements read this cycle said.
All 646 vote centers are open for the final stretch — 523 additional centers joined the first 123 on Saturday — and no voter is assigned to a single place: any county voter may cast a ballot at any of the 646 locations, which also handle voter registration and accept completed vote-by-mail ballots, the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's announcements said. The county operates 429 official ballot drop boxes, which accept ballots until 8 p.m. on Election Day, and locations are listed at locator.lavote.gov.
The mail warning bears repeating on the eve of the vote: ballots returned through the mail must be postmarked on or before November 3 to be counted, and county officials have cautioned that, because of changes at the U.S. Postal Service, ballots mailed now may not be postmarked by Election Day — which is why the county steers late returners to a drop box or a vote center in person. Voters can track a returned ballot at california.ballottrax.net.
After polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday, the county begins its official canvass on November 4, with election results scheduled to be certified November 27, election officials said. The November 3 ballot carries the governor's race, statewide offices, congressional and legislative seats, local offices and state and local measures — all of them decided by the voters who use these final two days.
