Los Angeles County Voters Get a Final Full Weekend to Vote as Officials Warn Mail Ballots May Miss the Postmark
All 646 Los Angeles County vote centers are open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday, and county officials are urging voters who still hold a mail ballot to use a drop box or a vote center instead of the mail.

Los Angeles County voters have a final full weekend to cast ballots ahead of Tuesday's November 3 general election. All 646 vote centers in the county are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Monday, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, and voters can cast a ballot or return a vote-by-mail ballot at any center in the county, regardless of where they live, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.
County officials are also warning voters who still have a mail ballot at home not to rely on the mailbox. Because of changes at the United States Postal Service, the county said ballots mailed now may not be postmarked by Election Day, and a ballot must be postmarked by November 3 to be counted. Officials urged voters to return ballots instead at one of the county's 429 official ballot drop boxes, which stay open until 8 p.m. on Election Day, or in person at a vote center.
The county will begin its official canvass on November 4, with election results scheduled to be certified on November 27. Voters can find vote center locations at locator.lavote.gov and drop box locations at lavote.gov.
